Leonard Kirwa Kosencha (born 21 August 1994) is a Kenyan middle distance runner.

He won a gold medal at the 800 m at the 2011 World Youth Championships in Athletics.[1][2] By performing 1,44,08 at these Championships, he also broke Belal Mansoor Ali's old world youth record, which had been standing since 17 June 2005. At 10 September 2011 Mohammed Aman broke Leonard's short-standing world youth record by performing 1,43,37 at the 800m in Rieti.[3]
